Trying so hard to get the toy...
I read in a magazine that summer born babies learn how to crawl an average of 4 weeks later than winter babies. This is because summer babies learn to crawl in the winter, when they are all bundled up (and weighed down) in warm clothes. So I stripped Corbin down to his onesie to play. Check it out.

cool
I just found out that my local library rents video games, so I just put myself on the waiting list for 5 wii games (and they are good games, Metroid, Paper Mario, and Sonic and Mario at the Olympics, to name a few). It will probably be a while before it is my turn (I am between numbers 16 and 43 on the different lists). But I don't really care if I have to wait. What's the hurry? I'm excited, this will be a fun way to try out new games for free!

Husband tag
I think that freeze tag was always my favorite game of tag growing up. TV tag comes in a close second. Anyways. Mary-Anne tagged me, so read away! What is his name? Jason Clark
How long have you been married? 3 years
How long did you date? dated for 5 months and we were engaged for 2 months, although we were friends for 2 1/2 years before we started dating.
How old is he? 27
Who eats more? Clark. He usually eats his food, and then he'll help finish off mine.
Who said I love you first? Clark...can you blame him? I'm irresistible
Who is smarter? I am smarter in English and Clark is smarter in math.
Whose temper is worse? We both have a temper, but I tend to stay upset longer.
Who does the laundry? Stupid laundry.
Who does the dishes? We try to just load the dishwasher as we dirty plates, but that doesn't always happen :)
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Looking at the foot of the bed, Clark does
Who pays the bills? Whoever see them laying around will enter them into the computer. It's pretty even.
Who cooks dinner? It depends. In the summer Clark will usually grill stuff up. During busy season (Jan-March) Clark gets free dinner at work, so I just eat whatever. And in between those times I usually cook.
Who drives when you are together? Clark. He is my own personal chauffeur. Actually I usually end up in the back entertaining Corbin.
Who is more stubborn? We are both VERY stubborn.
Whose parents do you see the most? Neither
Who proposed? Clark
Who has more friends? Clark has more friend here in Colorady, but I have more in Utah.
Who has more siblings? Clark has 6 sibling, I have 5.
Who wears the pants in the family? We both wear pants, and we both wear the pants.
Now...I think I am going to tag Marci, Laura, Janet, and Carmen.

Madpup
Corbin is ALWAYS moving. He definitely takes after me in that area, and I assume with a nickname like maddog, he takes after Clark as well. Today at breakfast Clark said, "Yesterday in church, I thought for a minute that maybe Corbin was going to snuggle. But then he didn't." I was laughing so hard. It's awesome that almost being calm and snugly is a big deal. What a funny kid!

I scream, you scream
Click on this link to join Cold Stone's Birthday Club. They will send you a birthday email with a coupon for a free love it (medium) ice cream! Clark and I both redeemed our coupons today. Yum.

intrastring
I was at Kohls today (I had a gift card, yippee!), and some jeans caught me eye while I was walking past the juniors section. They had a big elastic panel on the top, and they looked just like maternity jeans! Apparently they are considered lounge pants. I'm sure they're quite comfortable. But really. Who wants to wear maternity-type clothing when they are not pregnant??

Coupon hint
When paired up with coupons, buy one get one free sales are the best way to get a good deal on a item. There are two different ways to save big, depending on the type of coupon you have. The best is to use a BOGOF (buy one get one free) coupon, because then you get the two items for free! For example. This week Rite Aid has Speed Stick on sale BOGOF, and I had a BOGOF coupon, so I was able to get 2 sticks of deodorant for free!
Another thing you can do with a BOGOF sale is use two coupons (even those one of the coupons is for the free item). For example, Speed Stick is usually $4 a stick, and a BOGOF sale would make it $2 per stick. Well, lets say that we had 2 $1 coupons for deodorant. We can use both coupons, which would then make it $1 stick. Not too shabby.
Now, just be warned that each store you go to has a different coupon policy, but I have never had a problem doing this. Happy savings!

Now is the time
...to buy clothes!
Old Navy is having a nation-wide sale, 50% off all their clearance items! I got Corbin a bunch of shirts, a winter coat (for next year), shorts, and a hat and mittens. I also got Clarky a little something for his b-day. I paid $29.32, for clothes that would normally cost a total of $123.50. The sale only runs today-Monday. But I would go sooner than later, people had carts full of stuff.

What's new pussycat?
Corbin is sleeping right now, and so I should really be cleaning the house. But instead I am just playing around online. Here's what's new in Englewood:
* I am feeling much better today
* Corbin slept 9 hours straight last night before he woke to eat, 8:30-5:30. Then he woke at 6:30 and 7:30. But it is one small step to sleeping through the night...one day...hopefully...I can only dream...
* I was called to be a Sunbeam teacher. I am REALLY excited about this. About 1/2 of my class was in my nursery class 6 months ago (and what's more, it's the 1/2 that I liked the best!) Our ward has 2 sunbeam classes, totaling 18 kids, 9 in each class.
* Clark is entering busy season. Ick.
* A girl, who is a year ahead of Clark at his work, is a jerk and she just quit. Which means that they have early promoted Clark to take over all her work. Sounds like a good opportunity, right? Not so much. Instead he is going to have an even crazier busy season, and he doesn't get any kind of extra bonus or raise for all of this extra work. We can only hope that he will be rewarded this September when he gets his yearly raise.
* I just finished making a photo calendar for Clark's dad. It has been a really fun project.
* I would definitely recommend signing up with shutterfly.com. In the last 6 months they have emailed me 2 offers for a free photo calendar. I only had to pay s&h. They make great gifts!
* I love photography.
* If anyone wants any gift ideas (you know, to give to me because I am so cool, and stuff) I need a new black belt, a calendar that fits my little calendar holder 13.5" X 25", and I would love a bunch of fabric that would work to make photography backdrops (black, or white, or some kind of brownish/tanish, preferably a fabric that doesn't wrinkle easily) any of these would be great!
* And if you don't think I am very cool, and just want to give me a card, or a kick in the pants...well, I guess that would work too. :)

Christmas in January
I just got back from Walgreens, and I made out like a bandit! All their Christmas stuff is marked down to 10 cents/item. I got approximately $65 worth of stuff for...dum da da dum...$2.60. I am so cool.

Get to work!
Ha ha! My brother sent this to me, isn't it awesome?! The writing says:
"After the birth of a child there's always the temptation to say, 'Yes, it's cute, but what can it do?' Until recently the answer was simply 'lie there and cry,' but now babies can be put on the payroll, so to speak, almost as soon as they are born. Just dress your young one in Baby Mops and set him or her down on any hardwood or tile floor that needs cleaning. You may at first need to get things started by calling to the infant from across the room, but pretty soon they'll be doing it all by themselves. There's no child exploitation involved. The kid is doing what he does best anyway, crawling. But with Baby Mops he's also learning responsibility and a healthy work ethic."

Chomp
Corbin's first tooth is starting to come in! It makes him seem so much older! He has been fussy for the last 24 hours, but I think the worst is over. The cutest thing, is that occasionally I will see him run his tongue over his new tooth. It's like he is thinking, "what in the world is this pokey thing doing in my mouth?"
Also, we starting feeding Corbin rice cereal, and he LOVES it!! I finish feeding him, and he starts fussing for more! I really like the fact that I can start mixing his medicine in with the cereal. Makes life just a little easier for everyone. Here are some pics from his first experience with cereal. I can't believe how clean he stayed. He has actually gotten a little messier, but he really isn't too bad at it.

fake
My sister-in-law sent this video to me and Clark, and I thought it was really interesting. It's sad how many girls and women try to look like all these supermodels that don't even exist.
