Disney Trick or Treat

The last night of our vacation we went to the Disney Trick or Treat. Corbin and Avery looked so cute dressed up in their BYU football and cheerleader costumes. One man wearing a U of U shirt told Corbin that his costume was really, really scary :)  The night was great. The kids got a crazy amount of candy, and the lines for the rides were all really short. We stayed for the fireworks, then we called it a night because by then Corbin was asking to go to bed.

Showing off his big football muscles.

Avery loved riding the horsies.

All the Halloween decoration were so much fun!

Our whole trip, I wanted to get a picture in front of the Mickey pumpkin. And we finally got around to it at 10 p.m, that's why the kids look so out of it in the pictures. They were all tired out by then, and we were on our way back to the hotel.

All of Corbin's candy

And that's the end of the vacation. We loved it! We went home the next day, and at dinner time Corbin said to me, "Mom, don't be mad, but I think we should move to California." Pretty darn cute. I think that means the vacation was a success!

The beach!

After Legoland, we spent a morning at the beach. Corbin LOVED looking for sea shells. He had so much fun. Avery got brave and walked up to the water. But then she fell down, and after that she stayed far away from the ocean.

We made a little sand castle. Corbin quickly lost interest in it. He had more fun playing in the water, and looking for shells.

Some of Corbin's loot.

Avery had fun playing in the sand.

Chasing the birds

Legoland

We spent two days at Legoland. The first day we went to the water park, which was great! Corbin was big enough to go on all the water slides, so that's what he did the whole time. Clark and I took turns on the slides with Corbin, and relaxing with Avery. It was a wonderful day, after all the busyness of Disney. The second day we did all the rides. Corbin had lots of fun, but poor Avery was about 1/2 an inch too short to go on 95% of the rides. But, she was a really good sport.

Lego Harry Potter!

California Adventure!

Tractor ride at Radiator Springs.

Cool new sunglasses from Grandpa and Grandma

We got to meet Lightening! Kachow!

That's right. Show stopper!

Flik from A Bug's Life. This is one of the few characters that Avery wasn't afraid of, oddly enough.

Jake and the Neverland Pirates

Radiator Springs Racers. Such a fun ride! Too bad Corbin's face is hidden behind the windshield. This was a favorite for all of us.

Grizzly River Rapids. Corbin LOVED this ride!! (And notice that he got more cotton candy today) We went on this ride 3 times, and Corbin was laughing so hard that he started snorting. It was hilarious. Clark was a good sport because he got soaked on this ride. His shoes were drenched. They didn't dry out until the next day.

We met quack-quack! And Avery was totally scared of him. But Donald was really cute, and he played peek-a-boo with her. He was probably the nicest character that we met, because he spent so much time with us.

Toy Story Mania was another favorite ride. Avery liked the 3D glasses for about 10 seconds. Clark totally crushed us. In fact, he got the highest score for the entire group that we rode with. Go Clark!

Corbin loved being able to go on rides with Grandma and Grandpa. He loved all the attention.

High-five from the Monsters, Inc. guy.

Once again, Corbin loved the parade. The only problem was that he was so excited that he kept wandering out too far into the street.
This video is a pretty good example of how happy the kids were. :)
