A hairy tale

Clark and I were discussing how much money we spend on haircuts, so we decided to be brave and try cutting his hair at home. I say that "we" were brave because Clark is brave to let me cut his hair, and I was brave just to try! It turned out pretty good (and it should considering it took me almost an hour!) I guess all those years of cutting my barbie doll's hair has finally paid off. I am just sad that I don't have a good before shot, so you could see just how long it was before I cut it

Also, I couldn't help but post this picture of Corbin. He was playing on the floor, and I went into the other room for a few minutes and when I came back he had gotten himself all tangled up! I was laughing so hard because he was just laying there looking really confused!

P.S. Clark and I just rented a really good movie called "Pride." It is about an all black swim team in the 1970s. We really liked it, and I highly recommend the movie.

Go BYU!

Do you think we need new tires?!

Let me just preface my story by telling you that it started snowing yesterday, and our driveway has a very slight incline.

Last night, Clark and I were watching TV when there was a knock on the door. It was a friend from the ward, and he had come to tell us that our car was out in the street! Apparently, it had rolled back down the driveway and into the road because of the snow! The crazy thing is that our next door neighbor's car was also out in the road. It is just lucky that they didn't hit each other, they were only about 3 feet apart. I think we need to get new tires once Christmas and birthdays are done and over with!

Howda go Clark!

Hooray for Clark! He passed the final section of the CPA exam with flying colors! He got an 87 on his last test. Now, all that is left to make it official is an open-book ethics exam (although, Clark isn't a very ethical person, so he might struggle with this one). Clark compares the difficulty of the ethics exam to the drivers license book test. What a relief!!!

3 years and 5 months

Today is our 3rd anniversary. Three whole years, and we still kind of like each other! That's a pretty good accomplishment, if you ask me.

Also today Corbin is 5 months old! I can't believe how old he is. I finally took him in for his 4 month check-up, and here are the latest stats:

Weight: 14 lb 15 oz........25th percentile
Height: 27 inches...........90th percentile

I cannot believe how tall this little guy is! Only 1.5 more inches, and he will outgrow his car seat! The doctor says he is growing great, and he can start eating baby food anytime now. I think I will wait a week or so, until he is feeling 100% better. In honor of this milestone, the doctors office gave Corbin a cute silver baby spoon.

I like life. Life likes me. Life and I very fully agree.

This has been kind of a tough week for Corbin. I took him to the doctor yesterday, and he has a sinus infection. Apperently the infection had moved up to his eyes making them nice and goopey. So he is back on amoxicillin (yet again) and he has to take eye drops, which are not so fun. But the medicine is already helping, hopefully he will be back to normal soon.

P.S. Tuesday I went and bought a fake tree on craigslist for $15. It is not pre-lit, but I think it is pretty good looking! We set it up last night. I will post pictures once we decorate it.

Frosted window panes

Well. We made it back to Colorady safe and sound on Sunday night. Clark turned right back around and flew out to San Diego early Monday morning (and i mean early). Corbin and I are just hanging out at home. I am trying to get this place looking less like it was hit by a hurricane, and Corbin is doing his best to make sure it stays looking a mess. My goal is to get the house a little bit cleaned up, and then we can put up all our Christmas decorations! In the mean time, here are some wonderful pictures for your enjoyment. I will post San Diego pictures later.
