I gave Avery some string cheese today. It was still in the wrapper, so I asked her if she wanted me to open it. She said no, and tried for a few minutes to open it by herself. I asked her again if she wanted me to help her open the cheese. And she said, "No! Doggy open it!" And she ran over to Izzy and said, "Doggy open it?" And when nothing happened she tried again, but with the magic word, "Doggy, please open it, please?"
She gave up a few minutes later, and ran and got the safety scissors, and tried to cut off the wrapper. And then after a few minutes of that, she finally asked for my help. But, the only way she would accept my help, was if I pretended to use the scissors to open the cheese. Funny kid.
