Blue or Pink?
In one week (on Monday, June 21), we will hopefully be able to find out the gender of baby 2. Please feel free to cast your vote before that time. I vote boy. Clark votes girl, and Corbin votes he will have a baby sister.

No more sassy
I am really proud of Corbin. He is officially pacifier free. For the last couple of months, Clark would occasionally ask Corbin if he wanted to throw his paci away. Corbin would always respond with great distress, and say things like, "but I love my sassy!" Well, a couple of weeks ago Clark asked him again, and this time Corbin said yes. And he ran up to his bed, got his paci, and then threw it in the garbage can. In the meantime, Clark and I are both stumbling over our words, and saying things like, "Are you sure about this?" "You can't get the paci back once it goes in the garbage. It will be gone forever." "No more paci" We were both quite sure that Corbin would have a really hard time going to sleep that night. And we were right. As soon as Corbin got in bed, he started begging for his sassy. It got to the point to where he was nearly hysterical. So I dug out the last pacifier in the house. It was one that he hated, and I cut the end off (which I had previously also done with the favorite, but now thrown away pacifier, but the cut had not effected his love for that one in the slightest). Anyways, seeing that pacifier calmed him down enough that he finally went to sleep.

our weekend so far
We had plans to go camping this weekend, but on Thursday Corbin threw up and developed a moderately high temperature. So we decided to can the camping trip. And instead on Friday we enjoyed sleeping in, and taking long naps, and watching movies. By Friday night Corbin was feeling much better, and he was pretty sad that we didn't go camping. So, to try and make it up to him, we took him to the movie store and rented a couple of movies for him. Then we stopped at McDonalds and got him a Happy Meal and ice-cream cone. That cheered him up pretty well.On Saturday we decided to go see 7 falls in Colorado Springs. I have wanted to go there since we first moved here (almost four years ago!) It is a 181 ft waterfall, that is actually comprised of 7 connected falls (hence the name 7 falls). You can climb a bunch of stairs to get to the top, and my legs were dieing by the time we finally got to the top. The second picture below is a photo of just the top half of the staircase, to give you an idea of what we were up against. Corbin got too nervous to climb the stairs by himself, so Clark was a trooper and he carried Corbin up to the top.
