Snow Day!

Last Thursday, we got a pretty good snowstorm here. Clark got to come home early from work, and it was so nice to have him around, even though he did have to do some work from home. Our fun day included:

Playing in a sink full of water

Distracting Clark from his work

And reading Where the Wild Things Are. It's been a while since the last time we read this book. On each page, Corbin pointed at the monsters, laughed, and said, "silly!"

The next day, Corbin and I went out and played in the snow. Corbin wasn't a huge fan, he really didn't like walking, or crawling in it. You will see in the video, he looks at me and says, "how?" Translated to mean: help. Corbin only liked to walk in the snow, if he was holding my hand.

Corbin had much more fun playing in this big puddle of water in our street. He probably played in it for 30 minutes. Isn't Corbin a cute little marshmallow, all bundled up in his snow clothes?

wow! you guys have a lot of snow! it's so weird to me that it is still cold in other places of the country. it's nice and toasty here these days.

p.s. did you know they're making a movie of "Where the Wild Things Are?" You should look up the preview on YouTube or Hulu. It looks like it will be pretty good.

I can't believe it's so cold there. Too bad for you. Corbin looks like the kid from a christmas story...I can't put my arms down!

Such a fun post. Corbin looks so sweet "helping with the dishes"..little skinny boy!

You captured Corbin just right. What a hoot. . .especially his little humming tune (like mother..like son).

Keep them coming!!!

Uh..anonymous is me. I hit the wrong button! By the way we visited with Marci and Brandon last night. Wouldn't it be fun to get your two little boys together?
