Go Bingham Silver!! (aka the silver wolves)

Corbin just finished baseball season. He had such a great year. His coaches were awesome and Corbin learned a lot and had lots of fun. The last half of the season, Corbin got to try out pitching. He did a really great job (however, as the mom, I found it rather stressful!)  In the playoffs, the silver wolves made it all they way to the championship game in the consolation bracket. Unfortunately they lost that game 10-8. But, I think that a 2nd place finish is pretty darn awesome!

Corbin got the game ball at the playoff game on Friday, June 19 for his great pitching. Corbin was so happy! He said, "I'm just going to explode!" Great job, Corbin! He caught also caught an awesome pop fly that day, too.

Here are pictures from the awards after the championship game. Go Bingham Silver!

Tyson likes to climb

Tyson is my little climber. Here are some great examples.

Corbin's bike was leaning against the stairs, so Tyson hopped right on.

He loves the tramp! Makes me so nervous. I try to keep the picnic table away from the tramp, but sometimes the kids move it over and then Tyson will sneak up there.

Tyson can climb the ladder to get into the playcenter. But, he is scared to go down the slide. So, of course, he tries to go back down the ladder instead of going down the slide.

Can't leave the tray off the high chair, because he immediately will climb up to get onto the counters.

See! Told you. He's on the counter!

He just couldn't wait for me to finish filling the tub with water, and then undress him, so he hopped right on in. Silly boy.

Dragon Leader Breakfast

I'm so proud of Corbin. He has worked really hard in school this year. And today he was recognized at school at the dragon leader breakfast. Donuts, juice, and seeing my kid excel in school is a great way to start the day!

No training wheels!

My Avery girl is a stubborn little thing. When she puts her mind to something, there is no changing it! She decided that she wanted to try riding her bike with no training wheels. And much to everyone's surprise she got it down in about 30 minutes. She is a pro now at riding her "two wheel bike"!

1st haircut!

Oh dear. What was I thinking? I  gave Tyson a haircut, and now my baby doesn't look like a baby anymore. He is growing too fast!

AFTER:

Sidenote: Tyson loves crayons. They are one of his favorite foods. The other day in church he found the ziplock bag full of crayons, and he carried them over to me saying, "Mmmmmmmm!!!!!"

Don't let the bed bugs bite

A cute Avery quote:
"Mom, don't say, 'don't let the bed bugs bite'. Because that scares me. Say, 'don't let the spiders bite'. That doesn't scare me."

Preschool field trip

Today was Avery's preschool field trip to Texas roadhouse. She got to make rolls, go back into the kitchen, learn a line dance, and eat lunch!

Here Avery is next to Hudson and Violet. Violet is one of her favorite friends at school. And Hudson is her "boyfriend," and she says that she is going to marry him one day.

Izzy

We said goodbye to Izzy today. The poor thing had been acting sicker and sicker, so I took her to the vet, and he said that her organs were shutting down. So I made the hard choice to put her to sleep. It was so hard to tell Corbin and Avery when they got home from school. There was lots of crying from everyone. Izzy had been part of our family for 8 1/2 years. And while she often drove us crazy, we sure loved her.
