Sweet Tyson

I had the following exchange with Tyson today, while getting into the car.
Staci: "I love you, Tyson! Do you love Mommy?"
Tyson: "Mommy!"
Staci: "Do you love Daddy?"
Tyson: "Daddy!"
Staci: "Do you love Avery?"
Tyson: "Vay-vee!"
Staci: "Do you love Corbin?"
Tyson: "Coe-in!"
Staci: "Do you love Grandma?"
Tyson: "Gamma! ...Jeppy!"
Staci: "Oh, Ty, do you love Jeffy?"
Tyson: "I wuh you, Jeppy! I miss it."

Oh, buddy, I miss Jeffy, too. And it breaks my heart that Tyson is too young to remember just how special Jeff was to him.

Some favorites from Corbin's baptism photo shoot. They turned out great. He is such a handsome kid!

Kid food

The kids made everyone breakfast and lunch today. Corbin created a breakfast sandwhich comprised of a hamburger bun, swiss cheese, and crumbled graham crackers. For lunch Avery made popcorn in a hot dog bun. Yum.

I need a drink!

Hahahaha! This picture kills me! I laugh every time I look at it. But, I get it, Aves. Sometimes on a hot day at the park, you just can't wait any longer for a drink from that fountain! And there's Tyson behind Corbin, just trying his darndest to be a big kid and drink from the fountain, too.

Grotto Falls

We hiked up to Grotto Falls in Payson canyon for the 4th of July. We invited Grandma Gee to join us. The kids all loved it!

It took Tyson a little while to enjoy playing in the water.

Go Bingham Silver!! (aka the silver wolves)

Corbin just finished baseball season. He had such a great year. His coaches were awesome and Corbin learned a lot and had lots of fun. The last half of the season, Corbin got to try out pitching. He did a really great job (however, as the mom, I found it rather stressful!)  In the playoffs, the silver wolves made it all they way to the championship game in the consolation bracket. Unfortunately they lost that game 10-8. But, I think that a 2nd place finish is pretty darn awesome!

Corbin got the game ball at the playoff game on Friday, June 19 for his great pitching. Corbin was so happy! He said, "I'm just going to explode!" Great job, Corbin! He caught also caught an awesome pop fly that day, too.

Tyson likes to climb

Tyson is my little climber. Here are some great examples.

Corbin's bike was leaning against the stairs, so Tyson hopped right on.

He loves the tramp! Makes me so nervous. I try to keep the picnic table away from the tramp, but sometimes the kids move it over and then Tyson will sneak up there.

Tyson can climb the ladder to get into the playcenter. But, he is scared to go down the slide. So, of course, he tries to go back down the ladder instead of going down the slide.

Can't leave the tray off the high chair, because he immediately will climb up to get onto the counters.

See! Told you. He's on the counter!

He just couldn't wait for me to finish filling the tub with water, and then undress him, so he hopped right on in. Silly boy.
